SEO changes frecuency

When we commit changes that affect a lot of pages that are already indexed by google (results pages for instance), google will detect those changes and it will take a long time to re-index them again.
During this process we can watch google de-indexing our site’s pages to subsequently re-index them . Making continuous changes in the site can cause the crawler to reduce its crawling speed and so it will take a lot longer to for our changes to take effect.
To avoid this, one solution is to try to make batch changes, and then try not to make new ones until google re-indexes all the pages that were already indexed before the changes took place.  Then we can study the results and queue future changes into a new batch.

mosaic websIf you have valuable and useful content don’t be afraid of showing it to GOOGLE!
You should add to your sitemap as much content as you have…

1. Generate a sitemap index file which refer to little sitemap files (<10000 urls each one) and create as many as necessary

2. Upload this sitemap index to GWT (Google Webmaster Tools) and google crawler will be accessing each of these sitemaps when Google deems appropriate.

Let’s try with 2 million URLs and GWT does not show even a warning! But you must be aware that there is no duplicate content and urls are well designed!

The inclusion of personalized searches is creating a new kind of ranking, personalized ranking. If a user is logged in, the results shown on the first page of google search results will be taking into account the related links to his social networks (facebook contacts, twitter followers, blogs,…).

Google will give priority to these results over other “non-related” webs, whenever these “known” sites contain related information to the searched keywords. So nowadays twitter follow-ups, facebook pages, acquire major relevance!
